The organisers of TEDx Brisbane approached NetEngine to help overcome the administrative burden of managing communication and ticketing for attendees of their annual event.
After a brief workshop, we were able to design a simple solution that would replace their existing processes, saving hundreds of man-hours. Having captured the details of attendees for the merit-based seat allocation process, all attendee communication was moved into a series of emails with unique links to confirm attendance, and securely take credit card payments.
The project was a success not only for TEDx organisers, who were astounded at the reduction in administrative overhead, but also for attendees who appreciated the efficiency and transparency of the system. In the hope that the registration system may be of use to others, it was open-sourced and may be found on our public Github profile.
